Introducing Pawtrition: A Zero Calorie Joint Supplement Which Packs a Punch

As a pet owner with three dogs aged between 3-12 years old, I am always on the lookout for what’s new in the ‘wellbeing world’. After all, what’s right for my dogs today might not be right tomorrow and I’ll find myself in need of something new to make sure they’re healthy on the inside and out.

Last week I read about a new supplement called Pawtrition and we recently highlighted them as a pet brand you should know about.

So, who are Pawtrition and why should you know about them?

Pawtrition is a company with one goal – to give your dog the best nutrients possible to help maximise flexibility and maintain joints as they age.

Made with high grade ingredients, their joint supplement specifically targets a dog’s joints to help maintain and keep them flexible, while supporting smoother movement.

Pawtrition includes all the ingredients you’d hope to see in a quality supplement: Glucosamine, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C.

Plus one other - Collagen. This is a unique ingredient in a pet supplement but one that we find very interesting because Collagen protein is known to help repair deteriorating joint cartilage. Collagen is the main structural protein found in connective tissues like joints, tendons, cartilage and ligaments. As a dog gets older, their capacity to produce collagen reduces meaning it’s more important than ever to supplement.

They tell us, “Our product is natural. Unlike other brands we don’t pack our product full of refiners, this means everything that you pay for works towards the improvement in your pets’ quality of life.”

How to use

Sprinkle the power on your dog’s food or into their water (it’s flavourless) every day. Experts recommend using daily for 6-8 weeks to typically see results, but as with humans, each dog is different and so the rate of improvement will vary.

And if you’re worried about the calories (who doesn’t add a few pounds as they age!), don’t be. Pawtrition is a zero calorie, fat free supplement and is suitable for both dogs and cats.

The all important question – how much does it cost?

Priced at £18 (€19.99), a box will last one month for small to medium sized dogs and 15 days for larger breeds.
