Tell us all about all the dogs you've loved in your life. (this is your chance to tell us everything about your dogs, past or present. Names, ages, breeds - we want to know everything!)
I've had 3 dogs in my life. First was my ex-girlfriend's dog called Charlie. He was a Cocker Spaniel, who was funny because he had a fringe like a human and had human qualities. Second dog in my life was Poppy, a Lab, which I bought for my daughter after Charlie passed away.
Poppy was so small when I bought her but that didn't last long. What I did not know about Labs is that they moult so bad that it was annoying having fur all over the place.
Poppy is lovely but walking her was a nightmare as she was so slow and sometimes will just stop and wouldn't move for about 20 mins.

My 3rd dog in life is Teddy which was my girlfriend's dog when I moved to Portsmouth to be with her. Teddy is so cute but very needy - that's my girlfriend's fault.
You can't leave Teddy alone indoors - it's my girlfriend's fault as she treats the dog like a baby and when getting groomed, cutting Ted's nails is a nightmare as he poos everywhere.
You're obviously a huge dog lover. How long have dogs been a major part of your life and how would you explain the importance of dogs to someone who hadn't ever experienced the joy of a canine/human relationship in their life?
Dogs have been in my life for about 20 years and they are essential. They are a part of your family. I like my dog more than some of my family members.
What are your favourite things to do with your dog(s)?
My favourite thing to do is have a walk as it gets me out of the house.

You have a really interesting career... What advice would you give to the many people who wanted to follow your path in career terms? What are the absolute best (and worst) things about your work?
In stand-up comedy, the best thing is performing and the worst thing is travelling or performing at a venue where the audience is too drunk. With acting, the best thing is performing and the worst is long days.

Mental health awareness is important. My mum committed suicide 6 years ago so I set up my own Mental Health Awareness Campaign called "Don’t Suffer In Silence". It helps people not to suffer in silence.
Thanks, Marcus!
